Gingham Fringe Earrings Beading Tutorial
These beaded earrings were made with gingham bead mixes that we no longer carry. But if you scroll down, I provide the bead numbers for you to recreate them.
We also partnered with Cheyenne @thewholenessshop to create this free tutorial showing you step by step how to make these earrings. Click here to access it.
Materials You'll Need
1️⃣ BEADING THREAD
Nylon beading thread is best for fringe earrings. I'm a fan of Miyuki beading thread. Eggshell is a good color to match with the off-white beads.
If you're comfortable with switching thread, you can use Fireline or similar for the square stitch portion and nylon thread for the fringe.
2️⃣ BEADING NEEDLE
Size 10 works great for this project. Big eye beading needles also work well if you're still getting the hang of threading needles.
3️⃣ EAR WIRES
These are easy to find. Simply search for ear wires. And while ear wires are not shown in all examples, they attach to the bead loop. You will need pliers to do so.
4️⃣ SCISSORS/CUTTERS
5️⃣ MIYUKI 11/0 SEED BEADS
All designs use bead number 2021 for the cream color.
