1️⃣ BEADING HOOPS or FRAME

You can use a pair of blank hoops or a round beading frame (a.k.a. connector/link). If you use a frame, you will need to use an ear wire and may also need a jump ring.

2️⃣ BEADS

Of course, we're a fan of using 11/0 Miyuki seed bead mixes on these hoops. They give the hoops a designer look. But you can use any beads.

3️⃣ BEADING THREAD

Either nylon thread or monofilament thread (WildFire or FireLine) works with this technique. In the example, we used Miyuki beading thread.

The beads are secured to the hoop with half hitch knots, also used in macrame. Some may also call it blanket stitch with beads. We shared a short video showing the technique on Instagram here.
