Beaded Bow Earrings Tutorial

These beaded bow earrings are perfect for the holidays, Spring, and Valentine's Day too! So basically all year round! 😉

I strongly encourage you to read through all of the information below BEFORE watching the tutorial (link below).

MATERIALS

1️⃣ BEADS

These earrings are made with Miyuki 11/0 seed beads. Since I made these during the holidays, I showcased my holiday bead mixes, including Vintage Christmas and Modern Christmas in the tutorial. But they look great with all bead mixes and even solid colors. In the photo on this page, I used my Cherry Blossom mix and Hot Pink mix. For the color block pattern, you can view a close-up image to copy the pattern here.

Please note that the colors of the beads are much more vibrant than in some parts of the tutorial video, which was filmed on a rainy day. So if you want to see the true colors, please view the product listings.

For the center of the bow, I used 4mm glass pearl beads in the tutorial. You can use other beads, such as metal beads or fire-polished beads. However, I do think 4mm is the best size.

2️⃣ THREAD

I highly recommend using a 6LB monofilament thread like FireLine in the Crystal color for this project.

3️⃣ BEADING NEEDLE

Size 10 or 12

4️⃣ SCISSORS

5️⃣ PLIERS

6️⃣ EAR WIRES

7️⃣ WIRE GUARDS

They are also known as thread guards.

P.S. You can make a matching bracelet using this tutorial.
