Materials You'll Need

1️⃣ BEADING HOOPS

You'll find both 25mm and 30mm round sterling silver beading hoops in our shop here. You can also purchase beading hoops elsewhere. But always check the gauge of the wire and the hole size of the beads you're using to make sure they fit.

Our beading hoops are 21 gauge (about 0.71mm). Perfect for 11/0 Miyuki seed beads. But they might not work with 11/0 Czech or other beads. Always double-check!

2️⃣ BEADS

Of course, we're a fan of using 11/0 Miyuki seed bead mixes on these hoops. They give the hoops a designer look. But you can use any beads. Just be sure to check the hole size of the beads and the gauge of the wire to make sure the beads fit.

In the example below, we're using our best-selling Boho Rainbow 11/0 Miyuki seed bead mix.

3️⃣ RULER

You'll need to bend the last 3mm of the wire as well as leave enough room (about 7mm) for your earlobe. So you'll need a ruler to do some measuring.

4️⃣ FAST-DRYING GLUE OR BEAD STOPPERS

We highly recommend you secure the beads in place to prevent them from falling off. It also makes the hoops much easier to put on and take on. You can use glue, such as gel superglue, or silicone bead stoppers.

5️⃣ PLIERS

These are needed to bend the end of the wire to make it easier to add beads as well as ensure the hoop latches securely.
